us at Downtown's newest restaurant, Rim Tapas and
Fine Wine Bar. Rim is the brainchild of Stephen
Schneider who is also the owner and Executive Chef at Marisol,
one of Greensboro's finest restaurants since 1997.
Tapas
are not a particular type of food but a style of eating.
Anything can be considered Tapas—croquettes, olives, meats,
cheeses, anything. Tapas are smaller portions designed to
be shared, but Tapas are not appetizers.
Tapas are best eaten in several courses. For instance,
a table with four people might order four items, have them
delivered, then order four more. This continues until everyone
is full. Tapas dining is a great way to try a variety of
different food in one dining experience.
Please
be sure to peruse our extensive wine list which includes
over seventy wines from all over the world. Our front of
the house staff, led by Jay Stewart, will be delighted to
share knowledge
of these wines and assist you in making your selections.
